Funky Musicians
The musicians presently working with Funky Bodhi Music are a group of talented and versatile players adept at understanding
and exploring varied streams of musical impulses.
K.V. Balu: The man with the "magic fingers", Balu has been mesmerising
music lovers with this Tabla and Mridangam. Also, a percussionist of repute,
he has been experimenting with fusion music for some years now. In 1994,
 he was part of the group "Pulse" that received the Channel (V) Viewer's 
Choice award. 
Donnan Murray: He's an adept and exciting musician with a history of 
Jazz, Rock and Pop playing. A jinglesman with a series of advertisements 
to his credit, Donnan  has played lead guitar with Chennai's popular rock 
band "Juravi".Presently, he is high on experimenting & exploring various 
styles of playing the guitar. 
Maarten Visser: A graduate from a conservatory in Holland, Maarten is
a trained Jazz musician. He has performed with various bands in Holland 
and Denmark. The call from the East happened when he chanced upon 
a couple of Hindustani and Carnatic  concerts. He is in Chennai on a 
scholarship to study Carnatic music on Saxophone. He is also learning 
Carnatic vocals and Nadaswaram. 
Neil Mukherjee:  A flamboyant exponent of the classical nylon guitar, Neil
is a musician  of repute in Calcutta where he has played with the rock band
"KrossWindz"  with whom he produced "Path Gechhe Benke" a Bengali pop 
album. His  music score for "Everything Remains" a short film, has won him 
critical appraisal. Neil is in Chennai to further his knowledge of Indian 
classical music  through his guru Dr.N.Ravi Kiran. 
Paul Jacob: Thrilling the alternative music lovers for some time now, Paul
is a bass guitarist of repute...with the gifted ability to put a finger on the 
groove of any music presented to him. He's known for his compositions and
arrangements  in advertising world and has played with Chennai's 
unforgettable rock band "Nemesis  Avenue"; and has released an album
"In Retrospect" with "Sign of IV".
